Smart Domain is one team for interior design, smart home systems, and home concierge. We work as a full service in Greater Boston, the South Shore, and Cape Cod, and as a design and consulting practice in South Florida and Arizona. The company is founded and led by Coleman Irwin.

Smart Domain serves Greater Boston, the South Shore, and Cape Cod with its full Home Concierge service. Design and smart home consulting are also available in South Florida (Naples, Bonita Springs, Marco Island, Palm Beach) and Arizona (Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Phoenix). We do not currently service Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard.

You can hire Smart Domain for any single discipline. Design, Smart Home, and Home Concierge are designed to work together, but each stands alone. Many clients begin with a design project or a smart home install and add Home Concierge later. There's no minimum commitment to start a conversation.

Smart Domain installs the technology that runs your home, then monitors it. A traditional property manager performs visual inspections. Because we built and configured your smart systems — cameras, thermostats, smart locks, networking, security — we can see in real time when something changes. We catch issues before they become damage, not after.

The Home Concierge service includes physical property inspections, remote system monitoring, vendor coordination, arrival and departure preparation, pantry restocking, and linen service. We manage your existing vendors — landscaping, pool, cleaners, snow removal — and book new ones when needed. We stock the refrigerator before you arrive and reset the house after you leave.

Yes. Smart Domain coordinates with your existing landscaper, pool service, housekeeper, and any other recurring vendor. If you don't have a vendor you trust, we'll bring in one of ours. We meet contractors at the property, supervise the work when needed, and send you a written report after each visit.

Yes. Smart Domain reviews, manages, and often improves your existing service relationships. We vet what you're paying for landscaping, pool, cleaning, security, and other recurring services. Where you're being overcharged or under-served, we either renegotiate with your current providers or bring in better ones from our network. Many clients see a net reduction in annual home spend after we take over coordination.

Yes. Arrival and departure preparation is a standard part of the Concierge tier. Before you arrive: lights on, climate set, fridge stocked, beds made, water turned on. After you leave: house reset, systems secured, refuse removed, vendors notified.

Yes. Smart Domain provides linen service and turnover support for short-term rental properties in our New England service area. Fresh linens between guests, full property reset, inventory checks, and damage reporting. We coordinate with your cleaning team or provide one.

We install and support the leading residential smart home brands, including Sonos, Lutron, Ubiquiti, Samsung Frame, Nest, Ring, and Yale. Our scope covers audio and video, lighting and motorized shades, networking and Wi-Fi, security and cameras, smart locks, and climate control. We also work with existing systems regardless of who installed them.

Smart Domain Concierge clients receive 24/7 on-call response. Critical alerts — water sensor triggers, alarm activations, system failures — receive immediate attention. Standard service requests are typically addressed same-day or next-day depending on tier and severity.

Yes. Smart Domain is fully insured and bonded for residential service in every region we operate. We are also pursuing accreditation through the National Home Watch Association (NHWA) — a published professional standard requiring background checks, bonding, and adherence to specific service protocols.

Yes. The Smart Domain Partner Program is a referral relationship for trade professionals whose clients need ongoing care. Builders refer us at handoff. Designers refer us for technology and staging support. Agents refer us for listing prep, staging, and Home Watch on second homes. We integrate cleanly into your client relationship without competing with it.
